Did you buy this product for yourself or someone else? For me
I would have to say that this Sony Playstation 2 "horizontal stand" may not be the most functional PS2 accessory out there, but it sure looks great doing next to nothing! I purchased this PS2 horizontal stand for my PS2 system. Granted this stand only provides like a "centimeter or two" gap between the bottom of the console, to the stand. But I guess the slight air flow, now going under the console will help a little with any possible heating problems. Again, I don't think Sony went out of their way to create something super functional, I don't think functionality was their goal, I think their goal was to add a little "bling bling" to the PS2 unit. I love the way this thing looks, it just adds that little "pop" or "sizzle" to my unit. They did an awesome job "color matching" the plastic frontal bar, that hugs the front of the console, they matched the color great. The colored plastic bar matches the slight color accents through out the whole gaming system. Like the blue words and logo on the front side of a Sony PS2 dual shock controller, the color surrounding the USB ports on the front of the console, the words and log on the top of a Sony PS2 Multi-Tap, anything that was meant for a Sony PS2 unit, and has those accented blue words and logos, this horizontal stand will add to it's sizzle. For like $2.00 you can't beat that!
